IBYKUS has developed the useful PStart application still further. This tool enables various start parameters to be called with a mouse click. The new version has a number of new features. For example, the maximum number of entries per list has been increased to 64. The size of the button now adapts itself to match the window and split settings. The new version stores program-specific settings in the registry.

The other new features of PStart 2.0 at a glance:

• Application icons are displayed in the path list
• Comments and file names are highlighted
• Keyboard input for navigation has been simplified
• Path statements and parameters are stored in text files

The new version 9.6 of Omega SQL Expert, produced by IBYKUS, has been released in February 2009. In addition to a few design changes that give the program a clearer structure, the software tool presents the following new features:

• Parameterization of statements executed in script files
• Comparison of result tables
• Definition of idents in the edit mode

So that the user can become more familiar with the IBYKUS software tool for database development and administration, the new demo version can now be used for an unlimited period of time.

At last! No more boring documentation and manuals! Since March 2008 there have been Screencasts about Omega which don't leave any question unanswered. These short videos demonstrate the advantages of the database tool clearly and concisely: For example, the various options for executing a statement, working with the CREATE Editor, and explaining how to export files. In contrast to the documentation, the films show how the procedures run directly in the program - which makes them easy to understand. And it's amazing how many functions Omega really has to offer.
